Future Plans
The Lion, the Sun and the Eternal Blue Sky is a series of connected essays on the history of the Mongols in Persia The work will be published soon as an e-book.

I have already begun work on a new novel, a sequel to The Tiger and the Cauldron set against a background of the rise of the Ottomans. It will feature a few of the characters from The Il-khan’s Wife and The Tiger and the Cauldron as well as some new ones.

Apart from writing, my other great love is music. I play the piano, clarinet and saxophone (after a fashion) and occasionally entertain on these instruments. I also sing with a male voice choir and enjoy travel.

It has always been my ambition to write a comprehensive history of the piano and of the people, technicians, composers and pianists, who have made it what it is today. I have begun researching and have made an outline, and hope to start writing soon.
When adults wage war, children perish.

About Magda Green Books

Family research turned up some surprising facts and stories about my ancestors and their kin.

None interested me more than the prevalence of the name Magdalene in the family tree. There were Magdas in at least six generations of my family.
One of these, my three-greats grandmother, Magdalene Greenfield, was the inspiration for a new branding for my books and in 2009 I purchased the domain name www.magdagreen.co.uk with a view to using it as a publishing imprint.
